 Summit meeting at West Haddon:

Thoughts on where to go. Possibly fly to Kuala Lumpur and then across to Sumatra. Graham isn't a fan of long bus journeys and trains are limited in Sumatra. Car hire just isn't an option. Jakarta for a night or two? Then back from Indonesia to Singapore and then a train back to KL? A return flight to a from KL might work out cheaper than flying home from a different airport.

 Spending two days ‘respite’ by the splendid pool at our Sumatra retreat has been much appreciated. We ‘overdid’ the sun perhaps on the first day and instead of dining on lobster we looked like one. The friendly staff at the hotel serve drinks to our sunbeds. The sound of the fountain, the noise from the mosques, the butterflies & flora make it a magical experience.
