Feb 17: To Hotel Deli River, near Medan

 Saturday February 17: from the Moty Hotel in Malacca by taxi to the central bus station followed by a 2 hour journey to the airport at Kuala Lumpur. We flew at about 5:30pm to Indonesia —- to the unique Deli River Hotel, about 12km from the city of Medan. We arrived by taxi after dark so didn’t then appreciate the wonderful tropical gardens ….
