Feb 21: The jungle and the Orangutans

 At 7:00am we left the hotel on a half day trek into the Sumatra jungle in search of the Orangutans. Our wonderful guide was Heru, aided by his brother-in-law. We found a mother and baby after about an half an hour trek. We had the opportunity to get up very close. More photos to follow. We left the jungle on the river in black inner tubes and rubber rings lashed together  — over rapids. So very, very good.
